1/2" PEX Tubing avec barrière oxygène (EVOH) est utilisé par les pros ou particuliers pour les systèmes de chauffage au sol, ou dans le transport d'eau propre.
Les tubes en alpex sont capable de se prémunir de l'infiltration d'oxygène dans le système et stopper l'oxydation des parties métalliques du chauffage centrale. 

En appliquant un tube PEX, vous prolongez ainsi la durée de vie des pièces métalliques, y compris les vannes, les interrupteurs, les chaudières et les sous-bassins. Si cette tubulure est appliquée dans le système d'alimentation en eau, l'eau ne sera pas gâchée par l'oxydation. Pendant ce temps, les bactéries vivant sous oxygène ne se reproduiront pas aussi bien. Il a de nombreuses applications en raison de sa flexibilité, de son poids léger et de sa capacité à délivrer une grande quantité de chaleur. Les tubes sont marqués d'une longueur de 5 pieds et sont conformes aux normes ASTM, aux approbations, aux certifications, aux pressions nominales et à d'autres normes techniques.
